By default, students who are part of Teams meetings are attendees, which doesn't allow them to share their screen. If a student needs to become a presenter to participate in a discussion or show some work, you need to make them a presenter. To do this:
- Click on the Participants button in the meeting:
- Click on the three dots next to a user and click "Make a presenter"
